Lot 2 - 3 IVF EMBRYOS (Grade 1), HIKARI 830 X HEARTBRAND Z1118P Comments: Hikari has a fantastic legacy that precedes him! Hikari is known for his extreme balance of growth with high marbling and carcass traits. He is a son of Japanese legend, Dai 10 Mitsumaru 76 who also sired breed legends Big Al, Kaedemaru, and “the Elephant Cow” Heartbrand T0504E. Hikari is a leading proven sire of sons having produced elite bulls such as WSI Umemaru, TWA Kajikari, Kotsukari, and Heartbrand Hercules 2619A! The dam here is the legendary “Z” cow! This is your rare chance to get into the Z-cow line and Akiko maternal line. These embryos combine the proven performance of breed leader Hikari with Rueshaw’s outcross yet high performance carcass and marbling traits.
[ 39 ]TJ 338B ET sells with [ 39A ] TJ 290K The dam of TJ MS KINU 2 337B is the legendary TF Kinu 1 original import cow! She is renowned for her elite carcass qualities and her ability to transmit to the next generation. She also is 100% Tajima and the only 100% Tajima cow from the Okudoi strain to have been exported from Japan (the other two strains in Hyogo prefecture being Nakadoi and Kumanami). TF Kinu 1’s sire, Kikuyasu Doi is known in Japan to produce extremely good marbling. Kinu’s maternal granddam was born in the Hyogo prefecture and designated as one of the best foundation stock in the Hyogo prefecture!
[ 37 ]AAA MISS ZOE 702I Z sells with [ 37A ] TJ 249J The proven matron, Homare, is featured heavily in this pedigree as she appears on the sire and dam side. Kaedamaru is the other feature cow as she is represented through her son, WSI Umemaru. Umemaru is a highly valued sire and is the maternal grandsire of this lot. The UKB bull, 803, is the sire of this lot. He is a Shigemaru son from the Homares. The maternal side of the pedigree features a unique combination of bulls, Umemaru x Judo x Namimaru, stacked on the great Homare cow. You can have a lot of confidence in the breeding of this lot.
Lot 1 - 3 Conventional EMBRYOS (Grade 1), LAG MR HONJO MASAMUNE 1099 X HEARTBRAND C4044S Comments: This lot is sired by LAG MR HONJO MASAMUNE. Honjo brings well know and proven calving ease, growth, and the carcass traits that he inherited from his sire Red Emperor and dam Kaedemaru. But who is Honjo? Honjo’s story is interesting…When his dam Kaedemaru was 19 and after numerous failed attempts, an Oocyte was successfully collected and fertilized, the resultant birth being Honjo. He became the final calf ever to be produced by Kaedemaru, and he is the half-brother to both Umemaru and Kaedemaru #2. All three have now crossed the rainbow bridge, the boys succumb to injuries and Kaedemaru #2 to old age…However when it comes to genetic preservation, Honjo, will likely be the last man standing. For experimental purposes we bred many of the same cows to Umemaru, Honjo and Kotsukari, Honjo has never disappointed us and we have a good collection of his daughters in our herd.
Lot 23A - 23F - SEMEN - 3 Units, LAG RUESHAW'S XXX 2133F Sire: Rueshaw 430 Dam: HEARTBRAND NIKKI DR S1029P Comments: If not the best, clearly one of the top Rueshaw sons in the breed! His sire stack is an impressive Rueshaw x Shigemaru (Nikki) x Akiko. This is a complementary outcrossed pedigree and is compatible with most of the USA Akaushi population (No Big Al, Tamamaru, or Hikari in this bull). Additionally, XXX differs from his contemporaries in so much that there is no Kunisakae, Homare or Judo in his background. Rueshaw semen is extremely rare and if found regularly sells for $4,000+ per straw!
